Welcome to PantryPulse. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

PantryPulse is an AI-powered kitchen and pantry management application. Core features include inventory tracking, AI vision and barcode scanning, automated calendar meal planning, and an AI Chef meal generator.

2. Premium Subscriptions (PantryPulse Pro)

We offer a premium tier called PantryPulse Pro, which unlocks enhanced AI features, advanced analytics, and expanded tracking.

Pricing: PantryPulse Pro is available as a Monthly subscription for $8.99/month or an Annual subscription for $79.99/year. Prices are displayed in USD and may vary based on local currency conversions through the App Store or Google Play Store.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID or Google account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings — on iOS via Apple ID Account Settings, or on Android via Google Play Store → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple or Google according to their respective store policies.

3. AI Features and Content Disclaimer

Important Food Safety Warning: PantryPulse utilizes artificial intelligence, including image recognition and generative language models, to identify ingredients and generate meal recipes.

User Responsibility: All AI-generated recipes, ingredient identifications, and safety suggestions are provided for informational and convenience purposes only.
Allergies and Dietary Restrictions: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any ingredients identified by AI vision or recipes generated by the AI Chef. Always cross-check food labels for allergens, dietary restrictions, and ingredient safety.
Food Safety: The App does not guarantee that its cooking directions or meal ideas comply with standard health and safety guidelines. Always ensure food is properly stored, handled, and cooked to appropriate temperatures to prevent foodborne illness. The App is not liable for any adverse reactions, illnesses, or injuries resulting from AI-generated suggestions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to reverse engineer the code, disrupt the backend services hosted on Supabase, or bypass the subscription validation managed by RevenueCat.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PantryPulse and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, food spoilage, health issues, or financial loss resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
